This version of Faust by Howard Brenton was first performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, in 1995.
Note for Performers: this version was designed to be performed in two parts of two and a half hours each, but can also be cut to make one long play.
