And as Hucklebee makes his way he meets the fantastic denizens of the mountain: Stuffy Steadfast, who has turned to stone because of being afraid to take chances; Busy Does-It, an oddly beaver-like creature who confuses busyness with purposefulness; and others. And from each of these characters, Hucklebee strives mightily to learn’and to avoid making the mistakes that have doomed them.
