How can his team be faulted for its losses if its coach is a women So he appoints the English teacher, Janet Talber. What he doesn’t realize is that Janet is not the type to be a token coach and she means to win! Like the principal, she has far-out methods that include making Diane, a talented girl athlete, the star kicker. Diane is out for victories but her conscience bothers her about the boy she’s replaced. This play offers a wide range of comedy, from highly sophisticated verbal humor to slapstick.
