A Christmas play from the Orient that is exotic, lovely and original. It is the Emperor’s birthday and each of his daughters brings him a gift. One brings a beautiful vase she has made herself. Another daughter with a lovely voice sings a song. Tenyin’s gift is a play acted by the reluctant royal sisters. The play tells of a King greater than any Emperor. The unfolding of Tenyin’s gift adds a new light. Bare stage w/props. Approximate running time: 40 minutes.
